The Black Rat has been a great workhorse for the shop and usually gets out on the water at least once a week.
The Hull is a Stacer "Evo" hull providing plenty of stability and
good all-round performance for the diverse range of fishing that it
does. It is pushed along with a Mercury 60hp 4 stroke engine that has
given us quiet running, good fuel economy and has been a reliable
outboard for nearly 900 hours of use in the last 4 years.
The Black Rat is fitted with a bow mount Minn Kota, twin
Century MP600 Batteries (for the Minn Kota), 90 litre under-floor fuel
tank, 2 Humminbird sounders (a 900 series chart plotter for main and a
300 series forward sounder), live bait tank and all the little add-ons
for comfort.
