ABU Baitcaster Reels

The Abu Ambassadeur Promax range offers an affordable entry into the low profile scene. The Revo STX takes the amazing features of the hugely successful Revo S and SX models and adds a level of elegance and sophistication that is truly second to none. In addition to the solid brass ‘Duragear’ main gearing system, German made HPCR bearings, aluminium frame and side plates and a carbon matrix drag system, the STX offers up an infini spool II system, titanium coated worm shaft and an ‘Everslik’ coated pinion shaft. The Revo HPCR (high performance corrosion resistant) bearings are manufactured in Germany to the highest standards.

The new Abu Garcia C4 series has been up graded…and not in the ‘change the colour and give it a new name’ kind of way. The whole Swedish factory has been re-tooled from the ground up. What does this mean? Smoother gearing, far greater bearing tolerances, amazingly powerful carbon matrix drag system, selectable centrifugal casting blocks, v shaped spool for further casts and a new laser etched body. Overall it is a quieter, smoother more powerful reel than ever that feels comfortable even after a full day of casting. The 6600 now features a quick release thumb bar.
