Fish Report – 21st June 2012

The offshore fishing around the local Bundaberg area has been a bit quiet with only the usual mix of hussar, parrot, sweetlip and the odd snapper, trout and rd emperor.

There has been a few cobia and spanish mackeral taken also.

However, the local rivers have been fishing really well at the moment for blue salmon as well as monster bream up to about 43cm.

Don’t forget the VMR Bundaberg Family Fishing Classic is on the weekend. Online entries have closed, but you are still able to download the entry form from the website at http://www.vmrbundabergfishingclassic.com.au/enter.php

You can print a copy, complete the form, the pay your registration at the VMR base at Burnett Heads.

The weather forecast is looking good, so it should be a great comp.

Good fishing,

Tim Mulhall
