Lenthals Dam

Lake Lenthall is about 10klm off the highway and definitely worth the drive in.
Lenthalls has been stocked by the Fraser Coast Fish Stocking Association since 1984 with great success.
The lake has been stocked with bass, yellow belly, silver perch and barramundi. Bass would be our main target species here and the lake has many lily pad lined bays and banks, making it ideal spinnerbait country. Barra are a bit more sporadic as they move down over the wall during flood events. Golden perch mostly seem to be taken on hard bodies that are cast or trolled.
There is a concrete boat ramp, camping sites, picnic tables and toilets at Lenthalls. A freshwater SIPs permit is required to fish here and there are also some outboard and speed restrictions on the dam
Outboards up to 60hp are allowed as long as they are 2 or 3 star low emissions 4 stroke or direct injection 2 strokes
