The Monduran Anglers & Stocking Association (MASA) is the volunteer group responsible for managing and improving the freshwater fishery at Lake Monduran. Made up of passionate local anglers and community members, MASA oversees the lake’s stocking efforts, helping maintain one of Queensland’s best impoundment fisheries. The group works closely with local businesses, government bodies and the broader community to ensure the fishery stays healthy, sustainable and enjoyable for everyone.
MASA also run several key events throughout the year, including the Tackle World Bundaberg Lake Monduran Family Fishing Classic and the elite-level Wilson MASA Lake Monduran Barra Classic, which helps raise funds for ongoing stocking programs. Beyond competitions, the association plays an important role in promoting responsible fishing, educating anglers and supporting improvements to facilities around the lake.
