Here at Tackle World Bundaberg, we are an authorised Minn Kota Service Centre, fully equipped to handle everything from routine servicing to complex repairs. Our trained technicians work directly with Minn Kota’s official guidelines, ensuring your electric motor is maintained to factory standard. As an authorised centre, we also carry out full warranty assessments and warranty repairs, giving you confidence that your gear is looked after properly and efficiently. Whether it’s a quick check-up or getting you back on the water fast, we’ve got you covered.

Reel Spooling

At Tackle World Bundaberg, we offer free reel spooling with any reel and line purchased in-store, making sure your new setup is ready to hit the water. We also provide free monofilament backing or tape to prevent braid from slipping, and every spool is packed under the correct tension on our professional spooling machine for maximum performance. If you’re bringing in your own reel and line, we’re still happy to spool it for you, with a small service fee starting from just $5 depending on the reel size and type. Whether it’s a quick top-up or a full fresh spool, we’ll get it done right.

Reel Repairs & Spare Parts

As Bundy’s go to tackle shop, we offer reel servicing and repairs by sending your reel directly back to the official supplier and their authorised service technicians, ensuring it’s handled by experts using genuine parts and factory-approved processes. If you prefer to service your reel yourself, we can also order in the genuine replacement parts you need. Whether it’s a routine service or a repair job, we take care of the entire process for you and keep you updated from drop-off to collection.

Rod Repairs

Proudly serving Bundy anglers, we also offer rod repairs to keep your gear performing at its best. All rod tip replacements are done in-house on the spot, so you’re back on the water quickly. For runner replacements, full rebuilds and more detailed repairs, our professional rod builder collects rods directly from the store and completes the work promptly and to an exceptional standard. We can also arrange full custom work, including complete rod refurbishments. Whether it’s a simple tip fix, a runner replacement or a full custom refurb, we make the process easy from drop-off to pick-up.

Speargun Rigging

Here at Tackle World Bundy, we don’t forget about the spearfishermen and women. We offer speargun rigging services to ensure your setup is safe, reliable and performing at its best. Whether you need new mono, dyneema, crimps, bungees, bands or a full re-rig, our team can customise it to suit both your gun and your style of diving. From quick fixes to complete custom rigging, we’ll get your speargun dialled in and ready for your next dive.

Marine Electronic Tuning, Software Updates & Troubleshooting

As your trusted local experts, we offer marine electronics tuning, software updates and troubleshooting exclusively for customers who purchase their sounders or electric motors from us. This includes on-water tuning, where one of our experienced staff members will hop on your boat and help dial in your settings, optimise performance and share real-world tips from people who actually use the gear. We also provide in-house software updates for sounders and electric motors to keep everything running smoothly. And if you’re experiencing issues, we’ll troubleshoot problems - whether the unit is in or out of warranty - and, depending on the severity of the issue, we can even arrange for a team member to travel to you to get you back up and running.

Cast Net Repairs & Customisation

We also look after cast nets here at Tackle World Bundaberg. Simply drop your net in-store and local cast net guru Brett Renz will take care of the rest, returning it directly back to the store once the work is complete. Whether it's repairing holes in the mesh or customising your net with new ropes, tape or chain bottom, Brett brings the kind of hands-on expertise that only comes from years of throwing nets on local waters. From a quick patch-up to a full custom overhaul, we'll make sure your net is back in your hands and ready to throw.

Warranties

Our team at Tackle World Bundy manage all warranty claims through our store, making the process as easy as possible for our customers. The only exception is YETI products, which must be lodged directly with YETI. Every supplier has their own warranty requirements, assessment steps and processing times, and we must follow their procedures to ensure claims are handled correctly - including sending some products away for testing when required. However, with certain suppliers, we have the authority to replace items on the spot if we deem them to be faulty, helping you get back on the water faster. No matter the brand, our team always does everything we can to resolve your issue as quickly as possible, keeping you informed every step of the way.
