The Shimano 25 SLX BFS A Baitcaster Reel is a high-performance bait finesse specialist engineered for lightweight lure casting. Featuring an ultra-lightweight 32mm duralumin spool with reduced inertia, the reel enables low-trajectory pitching and exceptional casting distance with micro lures down to 1 gram. The Finesse Tune Brake (FTB) system combines centrifugal and magnetic braking to eliminate backlash whilst allowing stress-free casting of ultra-light presentations. The lightweight yet rigid Hagane Body provides exceptional strength and eliminates flex under load whilst the S3D balanced spool significantly reduces vibration for smooth casting. The Super Free Spool technology reduces friction on the spool shaft for enhanced distance whilst the Cross Carbon Drag Washer delivers smooth, consistent pressure with 3.5kg of stopping power. With Exciting Drag Sound for audible feedback, 5+1 S A-RB corrosion-resistant bearings, and versatility across freshwater and light saltwater applications, this reel excels across Australian waters.
