The Folding Galvanised Grapnel Anchor is a compact and versatile anchoring solution suited to small vessels, kayaks, dinghies, and tenders operating in areas with rocky, coral, or weed-covered seabeds where conventional anchors may not provide adequate holding. Manufactured from hot-dip galvanised steel, the four-prong design provides reliable holding by hooking to irregular bottom surfaces, whilst the fold-flat design enables the prongs to be locked securely in the closed position for compact and safe stowage when not in use.
A built-in locking ring mechanism holds the flukes firmly in both the deployed and stowed positions, ensuring reliable operation when anchoring and safe storage during transit. The weighted shaft design assists the anchor in sinking quickly and orientating correctly on the seabed, whilst the galvanised finish delivers corrosion resistance for long-term performance in marine environments.
