Reef Anchor 1/2in 12mm 4 Prong

The 12mm 4 Prong Reef Anchor is a heavy-duty galvanised anchor built for temporary holding in reef and rocky bottom conditions, suited to vessels up to approximately 7 metres in length. The solid shaft construction - with prongs welded directly to the shaft rather than hollow fabrication - provides greater weight and faster sinking for improved holding power, whilst the hot-dip galvanised finish delivers reliable corrosion resistance in salt water. The anchor is supplied with straight prongs for safe transport and is bent to the required angle using a length of galvanised pipe before use.

A key advantage of the reef anchor design is its ability to straighten under load if snagged in coral or reef structure, reducing the likelihood of losing the anchor during retrieval. The anchor is supplied with straight prongs and must be shaped by the user prior to deployment. Vessels anchored with reef anchors should not be left unattended, and final anchor selection should always be based on the skipper's experience, prevailing conditions, and appropriate anchor rode.
