Description
The Rule-A-Matic Float Switch provides automatic bilge pump activation based on water level, turning the pump on when water reaches 50mm depth and switching it off when the level drops to 19mm, delivering set-and-forget bilge management without requiring a panel switch to be left on. The mercury-free snap switch is tested to over one million cycles, providing long-term reliability in the demanding bilge environment, whilst the oversized float improves buoyancy and responsiveness to water level changes whilst reducing unnecessary on/off cycling that shortens pump life.
Marine-grade blocked wire, a moisture seal and strain relief on the top lead wires, and the absence of any exposed metal to corrode make the Rule-A-Matic well suited to permanent bilge installation. The float is removable for cleaning without removing the entire unit, and the 14-amp rating is compatible with bilge pumps drawing up to 14 amps on 12V to 32V DC systems. A manual test feature allows the switch to be checked without flooding the bilge.
