Description
The Atlantic 12v Cadet Electric Trailer Winch 3000lb is a 12-volt electric winch rated for retrieving boats up to 7 metres and 3400kg, powered by a 300-watt motor at 25 amps delivering a line speed of 1.3 metres per minute under load. The winch is supplied with 9 metres of 5.4mm galvanised cable with a snap hook, a handheld remote control with three metres of cable and alligator clip power leads, a quick-release bracket, and an emergency hand crank for manual retrieval when required.
The corrosion-resistant plastic housing has been tested by a NATA-accredited laboratory, whilst the free-spooling clutch allows controlled launching of the boat down the trailer. Designed for intermittent use consistent with the one to three minutes typically required to retrieve a boat, this winch provides an economical and reliable upgrade from manual winching for boat owners handling larger vessels.
