Description
Description
The Trailer Axle Fish Plate is a heavy-duty steel suspension component used in conjunction with U-bolts to clamp the trailer axle securely to the leaf spring pack, maintaining the correct axle position and preventing movement during towing and when the trailer is subjected to the stresses of road use and water launching. Fish plates spread the clamping load of the U-bolts across a wider area of the spring, ensuring a firm and stable connection between the axle and the suspension system that resists the dynamic forces generated during towing. The galvanised finish provides the corrosion resistance required for regular exposure to salt water, salt air, and road grime in the demanding conditions of coastal boat trailer use.
Trailer Axle Fish Plate - Boat Trailer Parts
- Heavy-duty steel construction - providing the strength and rigidity required to maintain correct axle positioning under the dynamic loads of towing and water launching
- Wide load distribution design - spreading U-bolt clamping force across the spring pack for a firm, stable suspension connection that resists movement
- Galvanised corrosion protection - delivering lasting resistance to salt water, salt air, and road grime in coastal boat trailer environments
