For hardware, Kaden rods run a Fuji reel seat for a secure lock-up and direct blank contact, paired with SeaGuide XO guides for smooth line management and durability across braid and mono applications. Dobyns also uses Kevlar wrappings as reinforcement for added strength without unnecessary weight. In the hand, the Kaden range features Portugal cork handles (with EVA used on select swimbait models), giving a comfortable, fish-all-day grip that suits a wide range of baitcaster techniques—from casting hard bodies and spinnerbaits through to jigs, plastics and heavier structure work.
