The Daiwa 23 Kix is a light tackle spinning reel designed and developed specifically for the Australian market's unique demand for heavy-duty performance in a compact package. Featuring AIRDRIVE Design, the reel's rotor and bail arm have been completely redeveloped to reduce overall weight whilst significantly decreasing winding resistance for effortless operation throughout the day. Built around a metal alloy body that's supremely rigid and highly corrosion-resistant, the Kix houses Tough Digigear for ultimate gear precision and durability. MAGSEALED technology on the main shaft provides exceptional protection against water, salt, and contaminants entering the reel's internals. CRBB bearings last twelve times longer than standard stainless steel bearings in saltwater environments, whilst the LC-ABS long cast spool delivers improved casting distance.
