The Daiwa 23 Saltist Overhead Rod is purpose-built to withstand the rigours of Australian saltwater fishing, offering reduced weight, increased responsiveness, and exceptional performance across diverse scenarios. Built from a responsive HVF graphite blank and featuring Braiding-X reinforcement throughout, Saltist rods maintain a slim profile whilst delivering extreme power. New actions and tapers have been purpose-designed to cater to popular fishing styles throughout Australia. Outfitted with a combination of Fuji 'O' ring Ocean guides and anti-tangle frames to offer the best line management possible for saltwater rods, whilst full EVA grips provide protection from rod holders during trolling or bait fishing. Jigging-specific models come standard with Fuji's GRC gimbal-appropriate butt caps to lock in securely. Daiwa's latest carbon technology creates a blank that has maximum density, yet is super light, sensitive, and highly responsive for saltwater applications.
