The Daiwa 23 Saltist Spinning Rod is purpose-built to withstand the rigours of Australian saltwater fishing with reduced weight, increased responsiveness, and an expanded model selection covering diverse fishing scenarios. Built on responsive HVF graphite blanks featuring Braiding-X reinforcement throughout the entire length, SALTIST rods maintain a slim profile whilst delivering extreme power through Daiwa's latest low-resin, high-strength, high-density carbon weave technology that creates maximum blank density with super-light weight. New actions and tapers have been purpose-designed to cater to popular Australian fishing styles, from jigging for snapper on the reefs through to popping for GTs or casting rocky headlands. Outfitted with a combination of Fuji 'O' ring Ocean guides and anti-tangle frames, these rods deliver optimal line management and smooth casting performance in demanding saltwater environments. Full EVA grips offer protection from rod holders whilst trolling or bait fishing, whilst jigging-specific models come standard with Fuji's GRC gimbal-appropriate butt caps for secure lock-in during intense battles.
