The Daiwa 23 TD Black Spinning Rod represents the third generation of light tackle rods designed specifically for Australian conditions. Built with an HVF Nanoplus graphite blank equipped with X45X Full Shield technology, this rod delivers lightweight construction with enhanced torsional stiffness that resists blank twist during casting and jigging. The high-modulus HVF graphite combines with Nanoplus resin technology to increase graphite density whilst reducing overall weight, creating a crisp and responsive action. Fitted with Fuji Alconite anti-tangle guides featuring stainless steel frames for corrosion resistance and Daiwa's exclusive AIRSENSOR carbon fibre reel seat for superior sensitivity and balance. Multi-piece models feature V Joint bias construction that eliminates weak unbending spots in the ferrule, allowing the rod to flex naturally throughout the blank. The full EVA grip provides comfortable all-day handling whether casting lures in estuaries, working soft plastics in freshwater impoundments, or jigging offshore reefs.
