The Daiwa 24 Certate SW builds upon the formidable foundations of the 23 Saltiga whilst introducing AIRDRIVE Design to decrease winding resistance and reduce the weight of the front unit. Built around a solid one-piece aluminium Monocoque (MQ) body that houses an oversized G1 Duralumin drive gear, this reel delivers increased winding power, strength, and exceptional gear durability. The MQ construction eliminates flex and twisting whilst improving weather sealing through its seamless, screw-free design. The new ZAION AIRDRIVE Rotor is what sets it apart from Saltiga, providing lightweight strength and low rotational inertia for effortless operation. AIRDRIVE Shaft features non-contact structure between main shaft and pinion with bearing-supported ends for maximum efficiency and reduced rotational noise. MAGSEALED technology protects both the pinion and line roller, creating a magnetic oil barrier against seawater, dust, and contaminants. Manual bail return eliminates the risk of bail flip-back during casting, whilst the ATD drag system delivers smooth, progressive stopping power with exceptional range for handling hard-fighting species. Ideally suited to Australia's demanding saltwater conditions, the 24 Certate SW excels across inshore and offshore applications.
