The Daiwa 24 TD Black MQ represents the most technologically advanced TD Black to date, designed and developed specifically for the Australian market. This reel combines both of Daiwa's crowning achievements in spinning reel design: a one-piece Monocoque (MQ) body focusing on strength and power, and AIRDRIVE Design which redesigns the rotor, bail arm, and other components for operability and response. The ZAION V MQ body allows use of larger gears for enhanced power, precision, and longevity, with its single-piece construction increasing body strength and rigidity whilst eliminating unwanted water and grime ingress. The larger diameter drive gear further increases durability and winding power. AIRDRIVE Design pursues ultimate response through a lightweight rotor and bail arm that reduces rotational mass, delivering lower start-up inertia and effortless reeling throughout the day. Tough Digigear provides optimum reel power and refinement through digitally designed, machine-cut gearing that ensures ultimate precision and smoothness. MAGSEALED body protection uses magnetic oil technology to shield critical components from water, salt, and debris. The Air Rotor made from ZAION features a redesigned arch that disperses pressure efficiently whilst hollowed construction reduces weight and increases sensitivity. ATD Type-L and ATD Carbon drags deliver silky smooth, consistent stopping power with progressive performance.
