Description

The Daiwa TD Sol MQ Spinning Reel features the iconic vibrant orange styling combined with advanced Monocoque Body technology delivering improved reel structure for the first time in the TD Sol range. The MQ body removes the traditional sideplate design eliminating potential ingress points for water and debris into the gearbox whilst achieving IPX rating thanks to elimination of the seam and screws that traditionally hold sideplates. Constructed from Daiwa's new Zaion V material, a high rigidity carbon composite that forms incredibly tough and rigid bodies impervious to harsh destructive elements of saltwater fishing, this lightweight yet robust spinning reel incorporates a Zaion Air Rotor and seamless one-piece Airbail construction usually reserved for Daiwa's top-end reels.

The lightweight and rigid rotor design delivers incredibly low start-up inertia for lightning-fast hooksets whilst Daiwa's MagSeal technology on both body and line roller prevents saltwater intrusion through frictionless sealing. The MQ body enjoys additional volume inside the gearbox by installing a drive gear much larger in diameter than reels without MQ technology, whilst Long Cast ABS spool structure, ATD drags, and Twistbuster II technology complete the comprehensive feature set. Ideal for targeting species from bream to barramundi across Australian fresh and saltwater environments, the TD Sol MQ combines the iconic orange appearance with cutting-edge Monocoque technology for anglers seeking ultimate protection and performance in demanding conditions.
