The Raptor Lures Dominator 7in delivers big-lure trophy fish performance with a unique profile specifically suited to targetting giant barramundi, matching the garfish and bony bream forage that dominate Lake Monduran's ecosystem. Designed by Darwin lure maker Pete Davis, this shallow-diving hardbody features a solid polyurethane hard foam body with density characteristics similar to timber, providing the perfect big-bodied profile whilst the subtle slow body roll combined with a tantalising tail kick creates an irresistible swimming action that tightens with increased speed.
The unique design excels when cast and retrieved over snags and shallow structure or trolled at varying speeds from slow-roll presentations through to high-speed runs, whilst the 2mm stainless steel through-wire construction ensures bulletproof strength against aggressive strikes from trophy-class barramundi and mangrove jack. Rigged from the packet with 6X strong VMC treble hooks and Wolverine stainless steel triple coil split rings, the Dominator combines proven hardware with a versatile action that performs equally well in both freshwater impoundments and saltwater environments, delivering the big-lure advantage when targeting serious trophy fish.
