The Shimano Environet Full Mesh FML-500 Landing Net delivers Shimano's premium knotless fish-friendly technology in a compact 500mm handle format with a large net head. The ultra-fine knotless mesh construction eliminates the abrasion points found in traditional knotted nets, protecting the fish's slime coat and fins during catch and release whilst preventing treble hooks from tangling and piercing through the netting. The 500mm handle suits kayak, tinnie, and close-quarters fishing where shorter reach provides quicker, more responsive fish landing.
Built with a durable aluminium frame and PVC grip handle, the FML-500 provides the same premium fish-friendly performance as the longer-handled variants in a more compact package. The large net head provides generous capacity for quality species, making this net ideal for conservation-minded anglers fishing from smaller craft where a full-length handle creates more problems than it solves.
