The Shimano Miravel is the newest addition to Shimano's MagnumLite series of spinning reels, delivering lightweight yet powerful performance with fierce versatility for the multi-species angler at an exceptional value that makes premium technologies accessible. Built around Shimano's legendary carbon-infused Ci4+ body, this reel provides a lightweight platform with 2.5 times more rigidity than conventional resin whilst increasing sensitivity and reducing body size and weight. The MagnumLite rotor is 25 per cent lighter than traditionally constructed rotors and requires 22 per cent less inertia, allowing for effortless startup and quick hooksets with better balance and easier control during retrieves. Sporting a trifecta of Shimano's premium reel technologies including cold-forged Hagane Gear, SilentDrive, and X-Ship, the Miravel provides durable gearing with tighter tolerances for smoother reeling performance that lasts. The Cross Carbon Drag material provides a wider range of drag settings and the smoothest Shimano drag performance ever whilst providing increased durability. CoreProtect water resistance safeguards the roller clutch, body, and line roller without creating heavy rotation, allowing anglers to fish confidently in tough conditions. The Propulsion Line Management System with its specially designed spool lip allows longer casts with reduced friction and line troubles, whilst G Free Body technology shifts the centre of gravity closer to the rod for reduced fatigue and enhanced casting comfort during all-day fishing sessions in both freshwater and saltwater applications.
