The Shimano Recoil Rod Trolling Strap delivers innovative rod security with a comfortable design specifically engineered for light tackle applications. Built with a TPU-covered Kevlar core construction that provides exceptional durability and strength, this advanced rod leash stretches when required and automatically recoils to its original shape when not under load whilst the 30cm coiled length extends to over 3 metres when needed. The innovative neoprene and Velcro rod end attachment remains comfortable in the hand whilst still secured to the outfit, whilst the carefully designed coil and attachment points prevent damage to precious rods and reels during use.
The small size variant accommodates spinning reels from 1000 to 5000 whilst the large size handles heavier tackle setups with a maximum static load rating of 150kg providing reliable security. Full stainless steel D-clips at each end with heavy-duty alloy crimps ensure maximum strength whilst enabling versatile attachment to the angler, boat cleats, or jetty structures.
