The Shimano SLX Baitcaster Combo delivers tournament-level performance and quality at a price all anglers can appreciate. Built on a 24-ton carbon construction with titanium oxide guides, the SLX rod is lightweight, sensitive, and strong. High-density EVA grips with a carbon foregrip and custom reel seat round out the premium package. The SLX reel features a Hagane Body with brass gearing that delivers reliable cranking power, whilst 3 stainless steel bearings plus 1 roller bearing ensure everything turns smoothly. Despite its compact design, the reel offers the same line capacity as Shimano's standard 150-sized reels. The VBS centrifugal braking system is extremely user-friendly and effective at preventing backlashes whilst increasing casting distance.
