The Shimano Terez Overhead Rod has built a tough-as-nails reputation amongst Australian anglers with its flagship Spiral-X and Hi-Power X blank technology. Spiral-X construction consists of multiple layers of carbon tape that tightly winds the blank diagonally in opposite directions, delivering enhanced torsional rigidity without adding extra weight for an extremely responsive rod with instant power transmission. Hi-Power X construction uses diagonally-wrapped carbon tape forming an array of "X" shapes on the blank's outermost layer, precisely fine-tuned for enhanced overall strength and twist resistance. These advanced blank technologies combine to create a rod that is 250% more structurally rigid and 180% less prone to twisting than standard blank construction, resulting in exceptional fish-fighting capabilities for serious bluewater applications.
