The Waterline Mercury 1999+ Quick Connect Fuel Hose Fitting is a brand-specific replacement connector designed for Mercury outboard motors manufactured from 1999 onwards. Mercury updated their fuel connector design in 1989 and subsequent models use a connector style that is not interchangeable with earlier Mercury fittings or those of other manufacturers, making correct identification and part selection essential for maintaining a leak-free fuel system. This fitting allows the external fuel tank hose to be quickly connected and disconnected from the engine without tools, providing a secure, sprayless connection.
