Description

The GME AE312V VHF Ground Dependent Antenna delivers high-performance 450mm marine VHF communication engineered specifically for harsh marine environments with ground-dependent design requiring antenna base contact with metallic surface such as steel or aluminium of approximately 0.5 square metres or greater. Featuring UV-stabilised white fibreglass construction with stainless steel components throughout, this antenna provides 3dBi gain across marine VHF frequencies whilst the removable colour-coded whip (green for VHF identification) enables quick installation or security removal.

Compatible with GME's complete range of VHF marine radios, the AE312V includes comprehensive installation package with antenna assembly, 5-metre coaxial cable, FME connector and plug ready for immediate fitment. Australian-designed and manufactured to ensure long life and high performance in marine environments, this ground-plane dependent antenna represents market-leading quality for vessels with suitable metallic mounting surfaces, though fishfinders and electrical devices should be considered when routing antenna cable to maximize transceiver signal clarity by avoiding placement adjacent to transducer cables and other interference sources.
