The GME GX700W VHF Marine Radio delivers compact communication and safety functionality with IPX7 waterproof rating making it ideal for boating lifestyles whether sailing inland waters or heading offshore, whilst compact design enables simple installation in locations where space is limited. Featuring innovative rear microphone input socket enabling users to run 5m or 8m extension cable (available as optional accessory) from the rear input to convenient locations where waterproof flush mount socket can be installed, this design eliminates obstruction caused by mic cables hanging in skipper's field of view making it ideal for above-windscreen installations in hard-top vessels.
Crystal-clear audio is delivered via the GX700W's dual speaker system with capability for further enhancement through addition of GME extension speakers, whilst the LCD display features large easy-to-read numbers with adjustable brightness designed for readability from virtually any angle day or night. Dual Watch, Triple Watch and two programmable priority channels provide easy access to regularly used channels, whilst programmable channel scanning enables easy monitoring of all important communications. The GX700W includes International, USA and Canadian channel sets for worldwide versatility, with 25/1-watt switchable power output and sleek white design complementing GME's 27MHz and entertainment products for coordinated vessel appearance.
