The GME SPL002 Band Splitter is a quality marine accessory that allows an AM/FM broadcast radio to be connected to either a 27MHz or VHF radio antenna without affecting transceiver performance. Fabricated using a fully moulded housing for durability in harsh marine environments, this splitter features 1-metre lead lengths for both radio and transceiver connections from the moulded housing.
All leads are terminated with appropriate coaxial plugs for secure connections, whilst white marine-grade RG58 antenna cable ensures reliable signal transmission. This band splitter eliminates the need for installing a separate AM/FM aerial whilst maintaining optimal performance for both communication and entertainment systems, making this practical accessory ideal for Australian vessels where antenna mounting space is limited across coastal and offshore applications.
