The Halco Roosta Popper 160mm is designed to deliver maximum noise and splash from a medium-sized popper whilst retaining superior casting capability and exceptional strength. Measuring 160mm and weighing 78g, this rear-weighted floating lure features the distinctive head shape with contoured cup sides that allow cavitation bubbles and noise to escape, producing an extremely noisy bubble trail. The unique design transitions from wide at the top to a widened tail end, creating a popper ideal for straight fast retrieves or stop-start blooping with exceptional splash whilst minimising cartwheeling. Rigged with #4/0 Mustad 3XX treble hooks and featuring Halco's Triple Turn split rings that are 70% stronger than traditional rings, this lure handles powerful offshore predators. Rod tip positioning allows anglers to adjust the action, with minimal effort required to produce explosive surface disturbance across Australian offshore and reef environments.
