The Daiwa 26 Coastal TW Baitcaster Reel unleashes unlimited potential with engineering designed to dominate the shallows whilst delivering unparalleled performance in challenging saltwater environments. Built on Daiwa's revolutionary HyperDrive Design concept, this reel features HyperDrive DigiGear with larger and stronger gear teeth for maximum smoothness and reduced wear, Hyper Armed Housing providing solid feel and protection for internal components, and Hyper Tough Clutch ensuring rock-solid engagement and disengagement of the free spool.
The A7075 aircraft-grade aluminium MagForce LC-Concept spool with 200-size capacity delivers 35% more line capacity than 100-size reels whilst the MagForce braking system maximises casting distance with heavier lines whilst minimising backlash. Daiwa's T-Wing System reduces friction during casting with its wider aperture allowing freer line flow, whilst corrosion-resistant ball bearings (7 CRBB + 1RB) last up to 12 times longer than standard stainless steel bearings, and the Ultimate Tournament Drag system provides up to 15.4lb maximum drag. Complete with a 100mm swept handle featuring custom EVA knobs for enhanced cranking power and wet-condition grip, this reel excels with inshore saltwater targets whilst maintaining crossover freshwater versatility for Australian bass, barramundi, and other demanding applications.
