Description

The Wilson Electric Assist Lithium Reel Battery Kit is the redesigned 2026 release of Wilson's compact rod-mountable electric reel battery system, now finished in a sharp new blue colour scheme with refined capacity options. Built around a tough one-piece body with enhanced electronic components, this lithium battery delivers a rated voltage of 14.4V, enough grunt to power any electric reel on the market and keep anglers fishing deep for hours.

Available in two kit sizes, the 5Ah kit for shorter sessions and lighter setups, and the 10Ah kit for full-day deep drop missions. Both feature a built-in battery life indicator and an included neoprene cover with velcro straps that attach the battery directly to the rod. Compatible with virtually all electric reels on the market through Wilson's linking accessories, and a Seaborg adapter cable is available separately for the Daiwa Seaborg reels.

The rod-mount design allows anglers to hand-hold rods during fights and walk freely around the boat without tripping over deck cables, making it ideal for chasing prized Aussie deepwater species like bar cod, flame tail snapper, ruby snapper, and more.
