The high-stretch quality rubber ensures the belt automatically tightens during descent when it generally loosens due to abdominal pressure and wetsuit compression, whilst the flexible rubber adjusts to maintain a secure fit ensuring that the buckle does not slip around the body as you descend. The belt comes standard with the popular Marseille-type buckle with an offset pin to ensure a quick release is achieved if required during an emergency, whilst the roller buckle will always release on demand but will not open when dragged past rocks or the gunnel of a boat providing secure yet safe operation making this one of the top choices for professional freedivers and spearos.
