The Ocean Hunter SGS Speargun is designed as a fantastic entry-level gun offering new divers of all ages a reliable speargun they can learn on without breaking the bank. The comfortable rear handle design provides hip or chest loading options making it versatile for different shooting styles, whilst the easy-to-use active line release system keeps the line neat and out of the way during hunting. The robust aircraft-grade extruded aluminium barrel ensures durability and maintains accuracy shot after shot, whilst the streamlined closed muzzle makes reloading easy and accepts industry-standard looped bands that are available everywhere.
The SGS comes equipped with an easy-loading yet fast 16mm powerband with a safe dyneema bridle providing ample power for targeting smaller species, whilst the lightweight 6mm stainless steel shaft is fast and ideal for beginners hunting reef fish. The included interchangeable Mako head features a threaded design allowing for easy replacement reducing maintenance costs, whilst the Surelock firing mechanism with line release provides reliable performance. This lightweight yet durable speargun packs a serious punch with power transfer matching that of a far more expensive gun, whilst being fully rigged with high-strength abrasion-resistant mono shooting line and marine-grade brass crimps ready to hunt.
