Description

The Oceans Legacy Deep Element Overhead Jig Rod is an extremely versatile rod that combines a responsive slow pitch style tip with a powerful lower end for manipulating jigs with ease whilst maintaining the backbone to stop everything in its path. Designed for heavy-duty slow pitch jigging with a faster action, this rod has become recognised around the world for its ability to impart superior jig action and deliver exceptional stopping power. The overhead models utilise a spiral guide concept to eliminate the opportunity for line to touch the blank, retain blank action and reduce tip wrap during jigging. Custom rolled with specially constructed blanks reinforced with Cross Core Carbon 40-tonne Toray high-modulus fibres, the Deep Element delivers the perfect combination of power and torque for deepwater or heavier jig presentations. Quality Fuji components throughout include the Fuji DPS reel seat with specially designed locking nut and Fuji double-foot KW Alconite guides built with the spiral guide configuration for maximum strength and performance.
