Description
The Salty Captain Aluminium Restoration Kit is a three-piece system for restoring bare aluminium surfaces including toolboxes, trailers, pontoons, and alloy wheels that have oxidised, stained, or developed surface corrosion over time. The kit contains a 1L high-performance aluminium cleaner that cuts through oxidation, stains, and surface corrosion rapidly, a 1L 4WD and RV Wash solution used as a pH 12 neutraliser to balance the surface after cleaning and prevent flash corrosion, and a soft bristle brush for safe scrubbing without scratching the aluminium surface.
The aluminium cleaner is designed specifically for bare and raw aluminium surfaces and should not be used on painted, anodised, or powder-coated finishes. The three-step process of clean, neutralise, and rinse restores the natural metallic appearance of oxidised aluminium, making it an effective solution for tinnie hulls, trailer frames, and alloy components that have dulled with age and exposure.
