The Shimano Expride Baitcaster Rod is a high-performance baitcasting rod built on a tournament-winning legacy and engineered for anglers who demand exceptional sensitivity and precision. The high modulus full carbon blank is constructed using Hi-Power X technology, which reduces blank twist when casting and playing fish, resulting in a very responsive feel. The Carbon Monocoque grip is a lightweight hollow carbon handle that increases sensitivity by 30% compared to traditional rod handles, transferring even the smallest vibration directly to the angler's hand.
The Expride Baitcaster is fitted with Fuji SiC guides and a lightweight Shimano CI4+ reel seat to deliver smooth line flow and reliable reel fixation. CI4+ is an advanced carbon fibre reinforced material that is 2.5x more rigid than its predecessor, increasing sensitivity and reducing weight while delivering remarkable rigidity for perfect reel fixation.
