The Ugly Stik Gold Spinning Rod is synonymous with strength and sensitivity drawing on over 40 years Australian rod building experience. Built with newly engineered Ugly Stik Howald Process featuring Triple Built construction around internal spiral fibreglass core for virtually indestructible performance. Parallel fibres infused with pigmented polyester resin create strong yet sensitive rod with better balance. Innovative Inter-core Laminate design surrounds graphite shaft fibres in outer walls with rigid-wrap structure providing greater stiffness and superior strength through blank shaft whilst creating better taper from backbone to tip for extra sensitivity and enhanced casting performance. Fitted with full Fuji New Concept Guide system specially designed with higher supports for tangle-free fishing featuring Fuji exclusive black polished stainless steel frames with Aluminium Oxide inserts within deep pressed frames. Fuji DPS graphite and Fuji TCS trigger reel seats incorporated throughout range. Comfortable tapered grips with Ugly Stik etched into EVA combined with slick new matt finish deliver modern aesthetic whilst comprehensive range across one-piece and two-piece construction ensures perfect match for river, lake, estuary, beach, rock and offshore fishing applications throughout Australia.
