The Wilson Venom Target Jerkbait Baitcaster Rod is specifically designed for extreme accuracy when casting jerkbaits in hard-fished waters, particularly with live sonar technology. Built on the award-winning Venom blank technology that delivers exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, this rod features a split cork rear grip and lockdown EVA foregrip giving ultimate feel and control. The distinctive hand-and-a-half butt arrangement allows easy underhand casting when pitching lures on the scope or flinging them underneath overhanging mangroves, whilst also enabling two-handed overhand casting when distance is required. The full EVA rear grip design allows scoping anglers to place the rod in scope poles whilst dealing with landed fish, and provides trollers the ability to use metal rod holders without damaging the blank. Equipped with latest Fuji guides built to exacting standards in the Wilson factory, each 6ft 8in model provides ample stopping power whilst maintaining the sensitivity needed for detecting subtle strikes across freshwater and saltwater applications.
