The Watersnake ASP transom mount motor provides 24 pounds of thrust in an ultra-lightweight design engineered specifically for kayaks, canoes and small dinghies. At just 2.2 kilograms, this motor delivers 33 percent more power than the 18-pound model whilst maintaining exceptional portability. The 24-inch shaft length provides optimal reach for kayak applications without excessive length that complicates transport.
The motor features high and low speed control with a forward and reverse switch for comprehensive directional command via the hand tiller operation. The extendable tiller handle provides comfortable reach and ergonomic control whilst the anti-impact clip system in the adjustable mount protects the motor when encountering underwater obstructions. The two-blade weedless propeller design ensures smooth operation through vegetation whilst minimising entanglement.
Designed for both saltwater and freshwater use, the motor incorporates an alloy shaft for corrosion resistance whilst the stainless steel propeller shaft guarantees long-term durability. The heavy-duty nylon transom bracket mount provides secure attachment with the adjustable transom-mount fitting enabling installation on various kayak configurations.
