As I’m sure you can all understand, writing the fish report for this week was a little difficult due to the low pressure system that moved down the south-eastern Queensland coastline during the past few days.

BUNDABERG OFFSHORE
By now, I’m sure everyone around the Bundaberg area has seen enough rain for quite a while. It will be great to have a mostly sunny weekend forecast to let things dry out.
Looking into the weekend’s forecast for Bundaberg, it’s not looking too bad for a run offshore and with perfect tides the fishing should be great, but please make sure you are up to date with the latest weather forecasts before heading out as things can change at any time.
Well, it doesn’t usually happen, but the weather around the Bundaberg area was better than the predicted forecast last weekend. A lot of anglers made the most of the good conditions and headed offshore. Let’s hope this happens again this weekend, because some of the fish caught just offshore wa
Looking into the weekend’s forecast, it’s not looking too flash for any offshore fishing around the Bundaberg area, so it looks like the local rivers and creeks will be where it’s at again for this week.
By now, everyone should have recovered from the Australia Day celebrations and are either back at school or work for another big year.
Looking forward into the Australia Day long weekend, the offshore forecast for the Bundaberg area isn’t looking too good, but the general forecast for a bit of camping and fishing in the local creeks and rivers is still looking fair.
With this being the last weekend of the school holidays, I can’t think of a better way to finish the break than by hooking into a few fish around the Bundaberg region.
Well, we are now a few weeks into the New Year and boy, has it gone quickly! But, as each week passes, the local rivers and creeks around the Bundaberg area are cleaning up day by day.
