Looking into the weekend, the things aren’t looking too bad around the Bundaberg area, but as always, keep an eye on up-to-date weather forecasts before heading out.
Due to the amount of rain we have received over the past fortnight, writing a fishing report for the Bundaberg region will be a little difficult.
With two significant rain events in as many weeks around the Bundaberg region, the chance to get out and wet a line has been limited.

After such a long dry spell, Bundaberg finally received some welcome rain last weekend. The only problem was, when it started it didn’t know how to stop; with Bundaberg receiving around 250-300mls of rain on a single day.
With the off shore forecast for the Bundaberg area not looking too good for the weekend, it is back up rivers and creeks for the keen anglers, and most of our local rivers have been fishing really well.
We have been very lucky to see good weather around the Bundaberg area for the kids for the first week of the school holidays.
The estuaries and the reefs have both performed well during this past week.

The past week has seen some interesting weather around the Bundaberg area. The summer northerly winds have kicked in early, meaning the water temperatures will be on the rise and some of the summer species will be on the chew.
