Well, around the Bundaberg area, we sure have copped our fair share of rain over the past week, sending more fresh down most of our river systems. This will make the fishing very interesting, as this will push most of the species back down towards the river mouths.
With Christmas only a few weeks away, I’m sure all the school children and parents can’t wait to get out and wet a line over the break.
The offshore fishing around the Bundaberg area will be limited this weekend due to the recent south-easterly change, so any form of offshore fishing will be coastal and around the river mouths. The early morning tops of the tides will be best.
Once again, for this weekend around the Bundaberg area, it looks like most of the fishing will be restricted to the local rivers and creeks, due to the south-easterlies that just don’t seem to stop.
Looking into the weekend’s forecast for the Bundaberg area, it is not looking too flash due to a strong south-easterly wind predicted. Luckily, last weekend was a cracker and a lot of boats headed offshore.
