The Nomad Madmacs 130mm is a high-speed sinking trolling minnow featuring Nomad's patented Autotune system that delivers an amazing vibrating action across an unprecedented speed range from 5 knots to 15 knots. Measuring 130mm in length and weighing 95 grams, this versatile lure runs at depths of approximately 1.8 to 2.4 metres when trolled at slower speeds and 1 to 1.2 metres when trolled fast, providing exceptional depth control based on trolling speed. The Autotune system ensures the lure always trolls perfectly straight and runs with remarkable action regardless of speed, creating more swimming movement at slower speeds whilst maintaining stability at extreme velocities. This ability to perform across all speed ranges makes the Madmacs an essential lure in every offshore trolling spread, allowing anglers to match changing conditions and fish activity levels. The lure can also be deployed as a casting bait, featuring an internal rattle that generates additional acoustic attraction to draw predators from distance. The proprietary construction features a machine-stamped stainless steel plate fused into the body mould with a series of strategically placed small holes, allowing moulded plastic to weave through the plate creating ultimate internal strength. The full body foam core construction of the patented body design ensures extreme durability, with the foam preventing lure failure even if the outer HD ABS plastic body is punctured by toothy predators like mackerel, barracuda or wahoo. The Diamond Armour internal grid pattern further strengthens the body against crushing from large fish. Designed and tested in Australia by the Nomad Design Team drawing on decades of charter experience, the Madmacs comes fitted with super-strong BKK hooks and heavy-duty split rings, arriving ready for battle against wahoo, Spanish mackerel, tuna and billfish throughout Australian waters.
