Description
The Nomad Slow Pitch Overhead Jig Rod is the result of 20 years of development aboard Nomad Sportfishing Charters on Australia's Great Barrier Reef. Designed to be lightweight and responsive, this rod has the tip action to bring a slow-pitch jig to life all day whilst maintaining the power to get big fish away from the bottom. The blank features Japanese Toray carbon with Nomad's Helix30T system, utilising 30-tonne Toray and precise carbon wrapping to achieve increased sensitivity, strength and blank responsiveness. The slow taper is matched with a responsive tip section that has higher recovery in the blank, allowing more action to be imparted to the jig for realistic presentations. Finished with Fuji Alconite K guides for smooth line flow and a Fuji GM winch mount reel seat for secure mounting and enhanced control during battles with powerful reef dwellers and pelagic predators.
