Description
The Axis Distress Signal Orange V Sheet is a regulation-size 180cm x 120cm heavy-duty PVC distress signalling sheet that can be displayed on a vessel's deck or over the boat to attract the attention of search and rescue aircraft and other vessels. The bright fluorescent orange colour with a large black printed letter V is recognised internationally as a distress signal, providing a highly visible indication of a vessel in trouble from both sea and air.
Supplied with eyelets in each corner and rope lanyards for attachment to the vessel, the V sheet is stored in a vinyl bag for compact and accessible stowage. In addition to its primary distress signalling function, the sheet can provide temporary protection from the sun and rain whilst awaiting rescue, making it a valuable item of safety gear for any offshore or open-water boating trip.
