Description
The BLA High Performance Hydrofoil for motors 25hp and above is a two-piece wing-style stabiliser that mounts to the outboard motor's anti-ventilation plate, generating additional lift at speed to force the boat bow down and stern up for a faster and more efficient planing attitude. The high-strength foil design helps eliminate cavitation and porpoising whilst improving top-end speed, fuel efficiency, and handling stability at speed, making it a worthwhile performance upgrade for boats that struggle to get on plane quickly or suffer from stern squat at cruising speeds.
Supplied with stainless steel mounting hardware, the hydrofoil is a two-piece design for ease of installation without removing the motor from the boat. The tough co-polymer construction maintains its shape and structural integrity under the continuous hydrodynamic loads generated at speed, delivering consistent performance improvement over the life of the fitting.
