Description
The Daiwa 26 BG Bluewater Sabiki Spinning Bait Jig Rod is the purpose-built bait jigging member of the 2026 BG Bluewater family, designed specifically for working sabiki rigs and bait jigs to load up the livie tank before heading off to chase serious fish. The blank features unidirectional wrapped graphite/fibreglass construction, delivering the long, soft-tipped action needed to work small flasher rigs effectively whilst maintaining the backbone to handle bigger-than-expected bycatch including small trevally, mackerel, and bonito.
The Sabiki model receives the same significant upgrade as the rest of the BG Bluewater family with Fuji guides now fitted across the range, providing the line management quality serious anglers expect. EVA grips and a rubber gimbal combine to deliver strength and control during extended bait sessions, whilst the longer tip action helps work sabiki rigs with the subtle jigging motion that triggers bait to bite.
