The Daiwa Bait Junkie Prawn 4in Soft Plastic Lure is a purpose-designed prawn imitation that mimics one of the #1 bait sources in coastal estuarine systems and inshore waters. There aren't many fish that turn their nose up at a well-presented prawn, and the Bait Junkie Prawn has been developed to mimic a prawn's natural movements with remarkable realism.
The three-segment body design aids in a natural sink where the tail can splay and produce a gliding sink back to the bottom, imitating a prawn's natural falling motion. Forward-facing legs derived from the popular 295 Flick tail design have been adjusted to produce a subtle shimmy action on the retrieve, emulating the natural quivering movement of a prawn's legs. Designed to be fished with a hopping-style retrieve emulating a prawn fleeing from the bottom, this 4-inch size is ideal for chasing larger estuary and inshore predators including flathead, mulloway, barramundi, and mangrove jack.
